Voice Disorders

Voice problems in children include problems with quality i.e. hoarseness or resonance e.g. hypo-nasal (like when you have a cold) or hyper-nasal, where there is too much air coming through the nose. Failure for the voice to break properly might indicate another type of voice disorder. Liaison with the ENT department at the local hospital will be necessary.

Small Talk Therapists can offer an individual programme of therapy to alleviate the symptoms.
