Schools

We offer a flexible way to provide speech and language therapy to your school from half day a month to five days per week. We offer bespoke packages of assessment, therapy and group work depending on your schools needs.

We understand in this current economic climate that a school’s desire to provide speech and language therapy is often at the cost of other things so we make sure that the therapy is effective by collaboration with teachers and learning support assistants and families.

In a school environment he would work with children who have a range of special educational needs including those arising from diagnosis of:

  • Autism
  • developmental language disorder
  • selective mutism
  • speech delay and disorder
  • language delay
  • Down syndrome
  • auditory processing disorder
  • hearing impairment
  • disfluency
  • voice issues
  • cerebral palsy

We may do:

  • screening and detailed assessments
  • one to one therapy in conjunction with the learning support assistant
  • small group therapy with this learning support assistant whole class support to create a communication friendly environment
  • updating EHCP’s attending annual reviews
  • attending less formal meetings such as parents sessions and coffee mornings with caregivers

We can also arrange training for staff and parents on all aspects of speech language and communication.
